Well, I haven't thought about it. (thinks for a nanosecond) I want Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Karan Johar, Rahul Gandhi, Annaji (Hazare), Baba Ramdev (Rakhi is not calling her swami anymore), Swami Agnivesh, Laluji (Prasad Yadav), Mamataji (Banerjee). As wildcard entries I want SRK and Ash. It would be called "Maha Bigg Boss" and will be the most expensive project so far.

In Kolkata, you've never met CM Mamata Banerjee...
Main kisi ko janti pehchanti nahin. Nahin toh main zaroor unse milti. I know she is working very hard for people in Bengal. Ek Mother Teresa thi joh garibon ke liye kam karti thi, aur ek Mamataji hai.

Ek item song ka shoot dhai ghante mein hota hai, aur ek full movie banane mein teen se char mahine lag jate hai. Ek item song karne ke liye heroines 5 crore leti hogi, itna toh unko purey movie se nahin milta hoga. The trend must have hurt you somewhat...Bura toh lagta hai. Bahut bura lagta hai. I think Salman should marry Katrina now.

For what joy?
Salman obviously won't allow her to do item songs after marriage, right? I can do them all (laughs out loud).

You were in Kolkata to shoot for Satabdi Roy, who is an actor-turneddirector-turned-MP. Ever thought of joining politics?
I was in Kolkata because of Satabdi Roy. She put me up in a seven-star hotel, gave me a good team of choreographer, cameraman, costume designer and even paid my Bombay money. I charge 15 lakh per item song. Kolkata mein bhi mujhe wohi mila. About joining politics, I haven't thought yet. Politicians bahut corrupt hote hai. Haan, agar kabhi Mamataji mujhe bulati hai toh main unki party zaroor join karoongi. Warna, dirty politics mujhe karna nahin hai.

Katrina follows my dance moves: Rakhi Sawant

Rakhi Sawant, perhaps true item-girl in Bollywood today, alleges that actress Katrina Kaif has copied her antics in her "Chikni Chameli" act in "Agneepath" remake.

"I think 'Chikni Chameli' is a good song. Katrina has danced very well but it's not something new. I have already done all this before. You can watch all my songs, I have already done that," the 33-year-old controversy queen said here at the Big Stars Entertainment Awards.

"I have done this in 'Dekhta hai tu kya' and she did this in 'Shiela ki jawaani'. In 'Chikni Chameli', she is again following me. It seems Katrina really likes me...It's alright if someone wants to follow me and dance," added Rakhi, who did a cameo in a few films before featuring in a full-fledged item number "Chura liyaa hai tumne" in 2003.

Rakhi hasn't got any awards so far. When asked about it, she compared herself with Aamir Khan, though in a light-hearted manner, and said: "Aamir and I are similar. Neither he gets awards, nor do I. But we have won the heart of India and we do not need an award."

The loud-mouth actress, who has dabbled both in television and films, was last seen on the big screen in an item song in "Loot". On small screen, she hosted the reality talk-show "Ajab Desh Ki Ghazab Kahaaniyan"..

If you’re one of those who bet that Rakhi Sawant won’t be able to handle the pressure of motherhood, you might just be coming into a lot of money. Sources have it that Rakhi is having a terrible time playing mother to 10-month-old Jay on the sets of the upcoming Reality TV show Pati Patni Aur Woh on NDTV Imagine. After getting excited initially and buying fancy clothes for the child, Rakhi’s realised it is no child’s play to take care of a child.

In the house, while Rakhi prefers playing with Jay, the cleaning up and changing nappies seems to be fiancé Elesh Parujanwala’s department. A source says, “Rakhi is cursing the day she agreed to this. She weeps and worries about not getting any time to do her make-up.”

In an interview prior to the shoot for the show began, Rakhi had said crying babies give her a headache, and that she can’t imagine being without make-up.

Her nightmares seem to have come true, as she claims to be devoid of sleep and hassled all the time. In a footage of the show, Rakhi can be seen applying makeup to the toddler, something which has not gone down too well with many.
Actress Sambhavna Seth said, “Not that Rakhi looked good even with makeup, but now she’s realising what it takes. Bachche ko publicity ke liye mohra banana theek nahi”. Actor Raja Chaudhry says, “Rakhi is such a dramebaaz, that’s why she’s there.”

Contrary to what the footage shows, a channel spokesperson, when asked, said Rakhi is actually doing quite well and has even bought gifts for the child from the US.

Mumbai: Bollywood item girl Rakhi Sawant, who recently gathered all the publicity blitz with her ‘Swyamvar’ choosing Elesh Parujanwala as her ‘would be life partner’, is all set to rock another TV show “Pati, Patni aur Woh” with Elesh.

Rakhi is going through a dilemma as she feels uncomfortable with children.

Rakhi’s matter of concern is not Elesh but the baby that she is going to nurture for a month long in the new reality show, “Pati, Patni Aur Woh”. Taking care of babies is a biggest nightmare of Rakhi Sawant as children causes her headache.

“I’ve a migraine problem. When a child cries, I get a severe headache. I don’t know how I’ll manage for a month with a stranger’s child. On top of that I’ve to cook on the show. I can’t cook to save my life,” she says.

When Rakhi was asked how she is going to bring up her own children, she said that even animals manage their own offspring but to bear somebody else’s child is not possible on her part and so she does not know how long she would be able to stick to the format of the show.

Rakhi’s mother not invited for Wedding

Rakhi Sawant is really happy with her engagement with Elesh Parunjwala and forgived her ex-boyfriend Abhishek Awasthi but is in no mood to forgive her mother.

She says, “I completely forgive Abhishek Awasthi. I was very surprised to know that he showed up on Sunday for my scheduled wedding. Surprised and touched. If I knew, I’d have welcomed him. Yesterday, he was my boyfriend. Today, he’s my friend.”

Talking about her mother she says, “Please, all that nautanki on television for five minutes can’t take away the pain I’ve gone through. As far as I’m concerned that chapter of my life is closed.”

Moving on to Elesh she says,”I was all set to marry Elesh on Sunday. But it was Elesh who said he wanted more time to get to know me. I’m very confident of him. But if he needs more time to get to know me, how can I force myself on him? I’m ready to wait as long as he wants.”

While Elesh is a Canadian businessman Rakhi is not going to shift to Canada, she says, “I’m completely sure Elesh is the man for me. But I do have a career in Mumbai. So he’ll have to plan our future accordingly.”

Elesh in fact plans to take Rakhi to Toronto for his sister’s wedding.

Says Elesh, “My sister is getting married on August 16 and it would be a good occasion for Rakhi to get to know my entire family. She needs to get familiar with my family .I’m trying to get her visa done. And there should be no problem, because Rakhi will be in the US before that.”

Elesh has started an international film academy in Mumbai. And that will be his main business in Mumbai. “I’ve a family business in Toronto. But to start afresh in Mumbai I need time. It should all be in place by November. By then we should be ready for marriage. I am very sure Rakhi is the girl I want to marry.”

Was Rakhi Sawant Married before?

Though she came to the press conference two hours late, dressed in red and flashing her engagement ring, Rakhi Sawant took questions from the media in Mumbai on August 3, with fiance Elesh Parujanwala by her side, whom she had chosen the night before through her reality show “Rakhi Ka Swayamvar”.However, for a brief moment she was left stumped when a TV journalist asked about her first marriage.

“No comments,” said Rakhi, taking a deep breath. However, she did not deny it, as one would expect.This has given rise to fresh speculation as to whether the story about her being already married, which was broken two years ago by a TV news channel, is actually true.

In October 2007, it was claimed by a channel that Rakhi had been briefly married to a guy named Ashraf in 2004. Apparently, Ashraf had even financed the “Pardesia” music video that shot her to fame.

But the marriage had lasted for two-three months. Ashraf was accused of fraud and went to jail. Meanwhile Rakhi also found out that he was married and had a kid. It was said Ashraf’s family even harassed her for money. She had simply been taken for a ride!

What is good for Rakhi though is that her fiancé Elesh is a broad-minded guy who feels past is done and gone. Even he had six girlfriends in the past, he has said.

"We are open to each other; our past has come and gone. Everyone goes through a bad phase and we both had a bad phase in our personal lives," the couple said to the media.

Rakhi also made it clear that she is not leaving India for Elesh."More power to her. I let her do what she likes. I have also shifted my base to Mumbai," said Elesh.

It is no secret that Rakhi has really struggled to get to her present position so it's only fair that she enjoys the fruits of her labour. We wish her all the happiness as she starts a new phase in her life.

Court Orders FIR against Rakhi, five others

A local court on Tuesday asked the police to register an FIR against six persons including item girl Rakhi Sawant, actor Ravi Kishan and a top official of a leading channel for allegedly stealing the concept of a marriage-based TV reality show from a private portal.

Judicial Magistrate No 27 Shilpa Sameer directed the Karni Nagar police station in the city to register an FIR against the six including Sawant for alleged breach of copyright by lifting the concept of Swayamvar from the portal of a Pink City-based 'struggling' writer Gaurav Tiwari.

Besides Sawant and Kishan the FIR is to be lodged against Manging Director of NDTV Imagine Gaurav Gandhi, the Executive Director of the show 'Rakhee Ka Swayamvar' and two others for their participation in the programme.

In his complaint filed under section 156 (3), Tiwari alleged that his concept of marriages through swayamvar was his intellectual property and copyrighted in the year 2008 itself but the TV channel had stolen the idea and concept from his portal Swayamvar.Com and started the show.

The court directed the police to register an FIR in connection with the complaint and investigate it.

Rakhi Sawant observes ‘Karva Chauth’ for five Men

Here is one more instance of Rakhi Sawant’s crazy stunts. Karva Chauth — a festival that celebrates wedded bliss — is a few months away, but the item girl has already observed the fast for not one but five men in the run up to her swayamvar.

Rakhi, who surprised many when she decided to marry through NDTV Imagine’s reality show Rakhi Ka Swayamvar, is busy selecting an ideal groom on the show. As part of that she observed a fast for five finalists to pray to god to help her make the right decision.

Not just that — even the contenders — Luv Khanna, Manas Katyal, Elesh Parujanwala, Chhitiz Jain and Manmohan Tiwari — decided to support her and observed the fast with Rakhi. If that wasn’t enough, each boy’s mother helped Rakhi and their sons in breaking the fast in a traditional way, a source close to the show told IANS.

Rakhi also bonded with four of her prospective mothers-in-law, when they went all the way to Udaipur’s Fateh Garh Palace, where the show is being shot. She even discussed recipes of some of her favourite dishes with one of them, said the source.

Toronto-based Parujanwala’s mother couldn’t be on the show as she is abroad, but all the other women spoke at length to Rakhi about the cultures and traditions followed in their families.

The mothers even took gifts for Rakhi.

Luvs mother gifted her a bangle and a Ganesha idol, while Manas mother cooked for her. Chhitizs mother brought her some childhood memories of her son and Manmohans mom presented her Ganga jal from their hometown Rishikesh.

The item girl-turned-actress made a handful of appearances in films like “Main Hoon Na” and also featured on Sony TV’s reality show “Big Boss”.

The show Rakhi Ka Swayamvar airs every Monday-Friday at 9 p.m. on NDTV Imagine. It is supposed to culminate in Rakhi’s wedding as she zeroes in on her mate.
