Vidya Balan strips for Dabboo Ratnani’s calendar

Ever since she made her debut in Pradeep Sarkar’s ‘Parineeta’, Vidya Balan came across as a girl who was bold yet traditional. And ‘The Dirty Picture’ glorified the bolder aspect of her personality as she sizzled the silver screen with her “dare to bare all act”!

The actress recently stripped for ace photographer Dabboo Ratnani’s 2012 calendar. Vidya posed for pictures sitting in a bathtub with soap bubbles covering her modesty.

Vidya oozes sexuality in her scorching photo shoot and gives her ‘Silk’ image a run for its money.

Talking about the photoshoot, Vidya said, “Our previous shoots have all been phenomenal. Every time we have worked around the idea of sexuality…we were like what can we do that we haven’t done before!”

She also expressed how comfortable she feels while working with Ratnani.

“I don’t need to know anything when it’s Dabboo. That’s the kind of faith I have and rapport we share. It’s such a comfortable feeling,” Vidya said.

Vidya seems to be pretty comfortable getting bolder with age, which is why she has little inhibitions stripping and discussing sexuality.

“I have always tried to do something different. This push it a little further everytime on the sexuality quotient and I hope this time it’s even better,” said Vidya.

Naseeruddin 'became actor to meet women'

Naseeruddin Shah is candid in admitting that he joined films because he wanted to be a superstar. “Who doesn’t?” he questions with a grin, adding that he was happy with all the trappings of stardom.

He says, “Wine, women and song. I don’t think anyone becomes an actor to serve art. We do

so because we are insecure little boys and girls who want to get a bit of attention.”

Naseer quotes Hollywood actor Dustin Hoffman, saying, “He made an honest confession: ‘I became an actor to meet girls, because no one would look at me.” I believe him. Whatever happens to you along the way is a different story.”

NaseeruddinBeing one of the most prolific actors in the industry means Naseer has worked with the entire constellation of stars, from A-list box-office names like Amitabh Bachchan to arthouse favourites like Kay Kay Menon and Atul Kulkarni, who he teams up with once again for his latest release, Chaalis Chauraasi.

When asked to compare the environment on sets, Naseer says, “To start with, there is no insecurity or competitiveness. No one is trying to undercut another, or upstage the other by insisting on having the last word in the scene. ‘It’s very important. The scene must end with me saying something.’ Thank heaven, one didn’t have to worry about such nonsense.”

While this ‘nonsense’ caused him to flare up in the past, Naseer insists he’s now become politically correct when critiquing colleagues, and has brought his infamous temperament under control. “It’s a cry of agony really. And I realise this, having done it many times, as an actor and as a director in the theatre. It’s completely destructive, and one indulges in it as an outlet,” he says.
He adds, “I don’t do that anymore because I realised it is doing me a lot of harm. Since I started working with student actors, I realised it does them a lot of damage as well.”

Main khush bhi hoon aur sad bhi. Juhi is a friend, I am happy that she won. Par main Mahek (Chahal) ke liye bahut zyada sad hoon. She was my favourite contestant.

She was still the finalist, you can be a little less sad...
I was very sad to see her getting engaged (to Danish Khan). It just happened on the sets and I was so shocked. Why does she want to get married now? Her career has got a fine start... Abhi toh career ban rahi thi! See, the programme gave her so much of hype. This is the time she should be working. This is her chance. She should forget about marriage. Shaadi toh phir bhi ho jati hai.

Why don't you try telling her that?
I have a soft corner for Mahek. I can tell her that. Just that I don't have her number.

So, can we expect you in the next season of "Bigg Boss"?
Dilli abhi dur hai. The format of the show is also fast changing. Jab show ka offer ayega, tab main sochungi karna hai ki nahin. Actually, lots of good projects are coming my way and it will depend on whether my producers allow me to take part in the show or not. Sab toh unke upar hi depend karega na...

Given a chance, who all would you want to be locked up with in the "Big Boss" house?
Well, I haven't thought about it. (thinks for a nanosecond) I want Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Karan Johar, Rahul Gandhi, Annaji (Hazare), Baba Ramdev (Rakhi is not calling her swami anymore), Swami Agnivesh, Laluji (Prasad Yadav), Mamataji (Banerjee). As wildcard entries I want SRK and Ash. It would be called "Maha Bigg Boss" and will be the most expensive project so far.

In Kolkata, you've never met CM Mamata Banerjee...
Main kisi ko janti pehchanti nahin. Nahin toh main zaroor unse milti. I know she is working very hard for people in Bengal. Ek Mother Teresa thi joh garibon ke liye kam karti thi, aur ek Mamataji hai.

Coming to item numbers, these days heroines are themselves featuring in these special song-and-dance videos...
Aaj kal har heroine hi item girl ban na chahti hai. So, they are doing the Sheilas and Munnis of the world. Yes the songs are good, but there's also a profit factor involved. Ek item song ka shoot dhai ghante mein hota hai, aur ek full movie banane mein teen se char mahine lag jate hai. Ek item song karne ke liye heroines 5 crore leti hogi, itna toh unko purey movie se nahin milta hoga. The trend must have hurt you somewhat...Bura toh lagta hai. Bahut bura lagta hai. I think Salman should marry Katrina now.

For what joy?
Salman obviously won't allow her to do item songs after marriage, right? I can do them all (laughs out loud).

Coming to one more thing close to your heart - how about doing another season of "Swayamvar"?
Main no comments bolna chahoongi. Agar main na kehti hoon aur baad mein situation kuchh aisa hota hai ki main show kar rahi hoti hoon, phir achha nahin dikhega.

Wouldn't you invite Baba Ramdev... er Swami Ramdev?
I don't want to talk about him. I have had enough.

Over the past many months, courting controversy has also been Veena Malik, who is all set to be part of the forthcoming season of "Swayamvar"...

God has given me enough. I am also getting good work. I can never do a nude photoshoot. Haan, main kabhi kabaar expose karti hoon, par mera ek lakshmanrekha hai. Main usko kabhi cross nahin karti.

You were in Kolkata to shoot for Satabdi Roy, who is an actor-turneddirector-turned-MP. Ever thought of joining politics?
I was in Kolkata because of Satabdi Roy. She put me up in a seven-star hotel, gave me a good team of choreographer, cameraman, costume designer and even paid my Bombay money. I charge 15 lakh per item song. Kolkata mein bhi mujhe wohi mila. About joining politics, I haven't thought yet. Politicians bahut corrupt hote hai. Haan, agar kabhi Mamataji mujhe bulati hai toh main unki party zaroor join karoongi. Warna, dirty politics mujhe karna nahin hai.

Kim Kardashian strips in front of pal to ‘test’ if he is gay

Kim Kardashian stripped in front of friend Jonathan Cheban to determine whether or not he is gay.

The 31-year-old changed in her closet in front of Cheban to see if he takes a peek and to assess whether or not he is gay, after Kris Humphries made her think about her friend’s sexual orientation.

Humphries is convinced that PR guru is homosexual - and tells him as much - but Kim is not so sure, saying they have never talked about his private life before.

The results of her little striptease, which aired on Sunday in an episode of Kourtney ‘n’ Kim Take New York, are inconclusive, however, Cheban averts his eyes when she strips to her bra.

Later Kardashian is seen telling Humpries that Cheban did not look at her when she changed in front of him.

“I got changed in front of him to see if he would look but he didn’t,” the Daily Mail quoted her as saying.

However, the reality star concluded, he could have just been being polite and courteous.

During their closet encounter, Kim quizzes Cheban about what he looks for in a partner.

He jokingly replies, “Light skinned, big ass,” to which Kim jokes back “What if we are in love with each other.”

Later, in an obvious bid to prove he is straight, Jonathan goes on date with woman.

Kim and the NBA player meet her at his home before they go out - where Humphries again asks Cheban about his sexual preference.

While Cheban remained rather elusive about his sexual orientation, he apparently wanted to prove the 26-year-old’s theory wrong, whose suspicions were alerted after accompanying Kim and Jonathan on a trip to a candle shop.

While the basketball player sat there looking bored, Jonathan appeared to enjoy perusing all the scented products on offer, which Humphries finds odd.

Salman Khan, Sunny Leone fall in love?

It seems Big Boss contestant Mahek Chahal has a tough competition now. Mahek, who is believed to be having a soft corner for Bollywood hunk Salman Khan, has finally got her 'sautan' in porn actress Sunny Leone.

Sunny might have got evicted from Big Boss 5 but she shocked all when she revealed her desire to date Mahek's man Salman Khan. Daily Bhaskar quoted Sunny saying, "I would love to date Salman Khan “. When asked if she would like to date anyone from the house, she says, "I don't find any of the inmates appropirate as a date. They all are sweet but not good enough for an date".

So, does Sunny feel that her house inmates are not as good as Sallu miyaan to date or to fall in love with? But the love interest is not only from Sunny's side since Sallu too have a secret liking towards Sunny. Rumour mills suggest Salman who have committed to model Angela Johnson for his next film Sher Khan is now planning to make a change in the lead after watching Sunny Leone spice up the reality show. So, is Sunny all set to snatch away Mahek's dream man?
