Vivek Oberoi comes in good terms with Big B

The year 2010 seems to have promised to mend the sour relationships of the celebs. Vivek Oberoi, who was seen on channels and newspaper saying that he has mended his relationships, seems to have been accepted by the Bachchan family. At one of the Bollywood functions held Friday, Vivek was seen seating behind Amitabh and wife Jaya Bachchan.Though the party pictures suggested that Vivek was comfortably talking to them but Abhi-Ash and Vivek appeared sharing cold relation again.

Lately, we heard the news that at one of the events in December, Ash and Vivek seats were next to each other and they totally unnoticed each other. So, it is quite evident that Big B and Vivek might have come closed but Ash-Abhi are still a long distance away with Vivek. And it almost seems impossible. What you think guys?

Big B snores at his felicitation

Is age and work lastly catching up with Amitabh Bachchan ? The actor recently was caught napping at a felicitation role! Bachchan was at Satyam Cinema in Chennai, where he was honored by the Film Federations on Saturday. The 67 year old veteran dozed off before the ceremony and woke up thoroughly unsettled , not knowing where he was.Says filmmaker Balki, who was with Big B, “He was fine. He finally had some sleep.” At the end of the evening, Big B had 24 shawls to bring back, though he had gone with only a days baggage.

Asked what he would do with the huge heave, the Big B said, “I will give them to needy.”But the shawls were the least of his burdens. Says Balki, “Last week, he was running around Paa’s premiere . On Friday morning , he left to shoot for Big Boss without any sleep after the premiere. After shooting the entire day , he attended a party and then on Saturday morning he left for Chennai. At an age when a lot of us will be in a rocking chair, he is still rocking.”

All the work he is trying to juggle is taking its toll on his health, even as he scurries from events to cities to promote his films and reap the benefits. We think its about time he took some rest, for sure we want to see more of him, but not at the cost of his health.

Katrina is a modern day marvel: Big B

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who caught up with actors Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif on the sets of reality show Bigg Boss 3 recently, is all praises for the latter and says she is a “modern day marvel”.”Katrina is a modern day marvel. From a non-Hindi speaking young shy and uncertain lady of Boom, she has grown and grown to become one of the most desired actresses in our fraternity,” Amitabh posted on his blog bigb.bigadda.com.

While Amitabh hosts the reality show, Ranbir and Katrina had appeared to promote their film Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, which released on Friday.”They (Ranbir and Katrina) were charming and involved and sweet. Ranbir as you all know is related to me. His cousin – Rishi Kapoor’s elder sister’s son is married to Shweta, my daughter.

“I wished them happiness and success,” he said.In the meanwhile, Amitabh is himself busy charting the marketing plans of his forthcoming movie Paa, being touted as his best work so far. He plays a 13-year-old suffering from progeria, a rare disease, which causes premature ageing.

Amitabh touches Sanjay Dutt’s feet

Believe it or not Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan touched Sanjay Dutt’s feet. The unthinkable happened in the Sujoy Ghosh directed Aladin when it a particular scene Big B who plays the Genie had to kneel down and touch the feet of Ringmaster played by Sanjay Dutt. Sujoy Ghosh considered the scene to be very important as it contributed to the dramatic quotient of the movie.The entire team was apprehensive about shooting the scene as they were asking the living legend of Indian cinema to touch someone’s feet.

Director Sujoy Ghosh was worried about the reaction of millions of Indians to it.Sanjay Dutt too wasn’t game for the scene at first since Amitabh Bachchan is too big a name to be kneeling down on his feet.Amitabh Bachchan didn’t hesitate in going by the demand of the script and encouraged everyone including Ghosh to shoot the important sequence.

The movie will be worth a watch because never in his career the ‘angry young man’ of the 70s or the ‘Godfather’ of the millennium has been shot kneeling down in somebody’s feet.
