While the speculations about Kareena’s fixation with size zero are still on, it has now emerged that it is the mean pressure from her beau Saif that is keeping her uber lean. So, as some men like their women to be curvaceous, Chhote Nawab Saif prefers his lady to be dainty and trim. So much so is Saif obsessed with the lean look that a slight fluctuation in Bebo’s frame is enough to trigger his criticism.

Going back, one recalls that it was during ‘Tashan’ when Saif and Kareena started their romantic sojourn. Not to forget that at the time Kareena was at her thinnest best. And even though Saif might be fighting a mid-life crisis courtesy his bulging paunch, he doesn’t refrain from openly telling Bebo that she needs to ‘lose weight’.

It so happened that both the stars were present to perform at an award function. While the two performed together they also had separate numbers. And when Bebo came backstage after the performance, Saif openly stated that she looked overweight and needed to slim down.

Confirming the news a daily quoted a source as saying, “Saif told Kareena ‘I think you need to lose some weight, yaar’.”

Well, looks like the `size zero` mystery is finally solved.

Kareena Kapoor has finally firmed up plans for launching her signature global clothing line later this year. DNA had earlier broken the news that she was in talks with top international design houses for the same. It is now learned that her label will travel to Europe and the US; India will mostly have her pret line up for grabs in select outlets.

Brand equity analysts say this would only bolster her position as a global brand. Kareena says, “I have the plans in place. I just have to execute them. The line will be high-end, very rich and something that suits the taste of global buyers since I will look at having great business in US and Europe. I like to experiment with my looks. I like to wear new things and I have kept myself updated. My line will be fresh but will reflect my style.”

Kareena has shown she can effortlessly pull off traditional Indian ethnic wear as well as look drop-dead -gorgeous in Western chic. A style icon in her own right, Kareena says she doesn’t like being called a diva.

“I think everyone can relate to me. If I can look sexy, I can also look like a girl-next-door. I think because of this I have got films that have explored both these sides of my personality. I don’t like being called a diva. That’s not me. I think because of this image I have also got the brands that I have. I have a great mix of mass-based as well as high-end luxury products that I endorse. My style has always been relaxed and confident. Every girl should wear what she feels she looks best in. That actually set trends,” she says.
Ask her with a global brand positioning will she sign on some Hollywood movies and she shoots off, “If an interesting movie comes my way, I will always take it up no matter what the language is.”

And what is Kareena’s take on male actors in Bollywood being paid much more than female actors?

“It is a harsh truth but cinema across the world is a male-dominated industry. Even today, Bollywood films are made keeping the hero in mind. Very few films like Jab We Met are attempted because the prejudice is that women-centric movies don’t work. People like to go and see the heroes saving the situation rather than heroines and so they naturally become bigger brands,” she ends.

Is Saif a reason behind Kareena’s glamorous look?

In her couple of past movies like ‘Kambakht Ishq’ and ‘Tashan’, actress Kareena Kapoor has looked tremendously glamorous. It not just the movies but she is looking fabulous in her real life too. It might be charm of her new found love Saifu and now the directors are finding it difficult to work it Kareena.Recently, Rajkumar Hirani, the director of ‘3 Idiots’ faced problems as it was difficult for him to de-glam the actress as per her role in the movie.

Hirani said, “I wanted Kareena to look less glamorous. But, it was not easy. Since, Kareena is too glamorous without make up also. In order to make her look convincing, we decided to give her thick glasses to wear. To some extent we managed to bring down the glamour quotient. In hindsight, I would say that it was not an easy task to de-glam Kareena Kapoor in the film.” The movie will release on Dec 25th.

Producer Boney Kapoor is contemplating the release of his upcoming movie‘Milenge Milenge’ on Valentines Day this year.“Milenge Milenge” is the Hindi version of Peter Chelsom’s “Serendipity”.

This film is supposed to be a big hit as Milenge Milenge may be the last film to feature Shahid Bebo jodi.These days Kareena is having a rocking relationship with Saif and Shahid is o.k with the alleged link-ups. Kareena is frantic about Shahrukh

Kareena Kapoor has worked with many top-notch actors of Bollywood but her thirst has still not satisfied as she did not get an opportunity to act opposite the King Khan, Shahrukh Khan. The motive behind the ladies’ decision was to please her mother Babita, who is a Sindhi like Rajkumar Hirani. Hirani amusingly revealed Kareena’s reaction when he called her up to discuss the film.

“When I called Kareena for `3I` she got excited and immediately told me that she wants to do the film. She didn’t even read the script. Kareena’s mother is Sindhi and after having watched ‘Lage Raho Munnabhai’ told her, `there’s one Sindhi director who makes good films, work with him.’ I told her, `Please read the script before signing this film. Don’t do this film because I’ am Sindhi,” Hirani said.

The actress later read the script and was excited at the opportunity of working with Aamir Khan. “Yeah, she heard the script, loved the script and she cried too. Apart from that, she was happy that she was getting a chance to work with Aamir,” Hirani added. Next we will hear, Kareena doing a film with a ‘Nawab’ to please her Saifu!

Kareena nervous about mom’s reaction to steamy scene

Kareena Kapoor’s lovemaking scene with Saif Ali Khan in “Kurbaan” and the film’s bold poster showing them half naked are the talk of the town.

Kareena apparently had no qualms about doing the scene. In fact, she has said in an interview that she did the lovemaking scene because it was an integral part of the film. She said she would have done the scene even if her co-star was someone else, but since she knows Saif in real life, things got a bit easy.

However, after watching the film’s trial show at Yash Raj Studios, Kareena has got a bit nervous about her mother Babita’s reaction to the steam scene.

Therefore, Kareena put in a special request to “Kurbaan” producer Karan Johar asking him to delete the scene in the show which her mother and her friends will be attending.

But Karan is against doing this and has tried convincing Kareena not to get scared or be nervous about Babita’s reaction.

Kareena is currently in Sydney for a shoot, but apparently when she left, this was one of her top concerns.

Saif Ali Khan is normally known for his cool headed personality but this time, the actor lost his temper. In a press conference he was asked one wired question that made him go red on camera.

Recently Vivek Oberoi was asked of what kind of girl he wants in his life and he replied that she should be like his co-star Kareena Kapoor. “When this was told to Said in another press conference, all could see his face as he gave a very diplomat answer to it,” chirps the khabroo.

“He just said that, there is only one Kareena and nobody like her. Though his facial expression changed but some how Bebo managed to calm him down,” adds the source.

Kareena washes her hair in public

Kareena Kapoor will be seen wearing a veil for most of the scenes in Kurbaan. But a little birdie gave me an interesting piece of news. Apparently, director Rensil D’Silva wanted her to remove the veil for one particular shot. And for this shot he wanted Kareena to shampoo her hair. For Kareena it would have meant a good two hours had she gone back to the hotel for a shampoo.

That’s why on her request, the production unit set up a makeshift tub for her on the set, where she took a quick shampoo. If sources are to be believed Bebo washed her hair in minus 18 degree temperature. She had never done it before. But there was a 120-member crew waiting and the actress couldn’t let them down. Kareena’s Kurbaan opens across cinemas on November 20, 2009.

Bebo-Saif having small tiff over personal matter!

Kareena Kapoor will have to be extra careful next time she sends out an SMS to her boyfriend Saif Ali Khan.
At a recent media interaction, a Marathi news channel's (Star Majha) camera captured the contents of a private message Bebo was sending Saif. Unaware that a camera was zooming into her phone and catching the contents of her personal message, Bebo kept typing one SMS after another.
Bebo was seen sitting solo on a chair speedily texting Saif between sips of tea/coffee. However, the way she was holding her phone made it easy for the video camera of the news channel to capture what she had typed. Kareena was totally unaware that someone was zooming into her phone and recording the text messages.

After zooming in, it was clear that Kareena was reprimanding Saif in her message. Saif's text message to Bebo reads, "Sorry baby... was talking about your role only." In reply to his message, Bebo sends, "You were rude, Saif! I am hurt." It's clear that the two were having a small tiff over a certain personal matter.
A reporter from the channel says, "It accidentally happened that the camera zoomed into her phone. She was engrossed in typing the message, but soon realised that the camera guy was focusing on her message and told him to stop shooting. It was clear that the two had a tiff and Saif was trying to woo her by sending sweet messages. "

Kareena-Saif: In a never satisfying relationship

You don’t have to put in much effort”. When asked whether marriage is in the cards or not the answer was a full stop at least for 4-5 years as both needs to achieve their desired goals.

Saif isconcentrating more in his production house and Kareena with her upcoming movies.
