Kiss Gets a miss

andana Sen would have sizzled the silver screen again with three kissing scenes with debutant Anubhav Anand in her forthcoming film. However, the makers of the movie Perfect Mismatch have decided to edit all the three scenes out because they want to promote the film as a family entertainer

A source says, "Perfect Mismatch releases on July 24 and is targeted as a family entertainer. So the producers are doing everything to keep it that way. That's why they have edited the three kissing scenes between the lead couple."

Anubhav says, "Yes, Nandana and I did share few kissing scenes in the movie which have eventually been edited. We wanted the film to be a full-fledged family entertainer. So we decided not to keep the kissing scenes in the final cut."

The part Hindi part English movie also has Anupam Kher, Boman Irani in it and its plot revolves around the theme of inter-caste marriage.

Nandana Sen kissed Newcomer thrice for `Perfect Mismatch`

Actress Nandana Sen, who did some sizzling scenes with Randeep Hooda for `Rang Rasiya`, had also kissed debutant Anubhav Anand for their forthcoming film "Perfect Mismatch", but the scenes have been edited out.

The two had shot for three kissing scenes which were later removed from the final cut of the movie that is essentially a family entertainer, said a press release.

"Nandana and I did share few kissing scenes in the movie which have eventually been edited. We wanted `Perfect Mismatch` to be a full fledged family entertainer so we decided not to keep the kissing scenes in the final cut," said Anand.

The movie, which also stars Anupam Kher and Boman Irani, is a Hindi-cum-English laugh riot which revolves around inter-caste marriage. The film releases July 24.

Nandana Sen Become the Ambassador For NGO RAHI

Nandana Sen is doing her bit towards charity. She has now been signed up as the Cause Ambassador for an NGO called RAHI (Recovery and Healing from Incest). She will be in charge of raising awareness of the widespread trauma of child abuse, and working with its survivors
Talking about her ‘role’ in this association, she said, “Healing is often harder for men than it is for women. For males, the biggest obstacle is their reluctance to talk about it. In our society, men have been conditioned to believe by defination that they must always be aggressive rather than helpless. Since a ‘real’ man is expected to never accept he could be a ‘victim’, men fear that acknowledging their trauma would threaten their masculinity”.
She also exhibited her stand on the dreaded issue of ‘incest’ by stating that the hiding the pain of the victims’ abuse often leads to male survivors experiencing great confusion over their sexual identities and orientation. She added that, “Some survivors become intolerbly homophobic and some unhealthily aggressive. Disastrously, masculinity and power often get confused with obusiveness. For both men and women, the first step towards healing is breaking the silence about their abuse”.
For starters, she has just wrapped up a UNIFEEM - sponsored short movie called Chuppee, which deals with the subject of the sensitive topic of child sexual abuse.

Actor Jimmy Shergill has refused to do a kissing scene with co-star Nandana Sen on the sets of ‘Strangers‘. Nandana Sen to undergo surgery for her Hip injury

During the shooting of Tips Films Prince with Vivek Oberoi, Nandana Sen sustained a serious hip injury.
Now in deep pain, the Rang Rasiya actress might have to cancel the film shooting in New York for urgent hip surgery.
Nandana injured her hip during a fight sequence.
“These things happen during a film shoot. Can’t be avoided. My joint has sustained a major labrium tear. Only surgery can rectify it, and the soonest possible.”
Nandana got temporary surgery done so that her shooting doesn’t get disrupted. “It was a bit complicated and very painful. Steroid was administered directly into the injury track by scanning machines. It should work for two weeks.”
Although her worried family has advised her against it, Nandana hopes to complete Prince in these two weeks before going for permanent surgery. “I don’t want the shooting to suffer. But I’m suffering. Shakira was right. Hips don’t lie.”
