Salman Khan might kick-start Katrina Kaif’s filmy career but she achieved success only when she was paired with action hero Akshay Kumar. Same story is with Akshay Kumar also. Apparently Rocky was asked to give Katrina an ethnic-retro look for the song, and he thought it fit to give her the Amrapali look. The song also features the full HERA PHERI team of Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty .

Akshay and Kareena lock Lips for ‘Kambakkht Ishq’

The upcoming flick ‘Kambakkht Ishq’ is probably the most awaited movie of the year, partly because it has an array of international stars and partly because it promises tons of glamour with Kareena Kapoor set to appear in a bathsuit. Now, you have yet another reason to await the movie. The beautiful actress will reportedly be seen in a steamy liplock with co-actor Akshay Kumar in the movie.

Sources say that Kareena was not quite comfortable with the idea as Akki has already been her elder sister Karisma’s leading man in many of her movies and at that time Kareena was only a 12-year-old little kid who would shy away from Akki whenever she accompanied Karisma to her shootings.

Also, Akshay was equally uncomfortable to do the scene as Bebo is just a kid in front of him. However, professional as they are, they did go for it.

Akki hurt by ruckus over Unbuttoning act

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is miffed with Anil Naik, who filed a case against him and his wife Twinkle for obscene behaviour in public during the recent Lakme India Fashion Week (LIFW).

The actor feels Naik tries to seek publicity by harassing celebrities like him, Milind Soman and Mamta Kulkarni, says a close friend.

"Akshay is very hurt by the whole episode specially since the man behind the campaign had earlier harassed a very dear co-star Mamta Kulkarni. Anil Naik had earlier filed similar obscenity complaints against Milind Soman and Madhu Spare. He apparently thrives on getting publicity from seeking out celebrities from the entertainment world and harassing them," said a close friend of the actor.

During the LIFW early April, Akshay had unbuttoned his jeans, while walking the ramp, at the instance of his wife.
Akshay's unbuttoning act had kicked up a storm with some private individuals lodging police complaints, accusing Akshay of immoral and indecent behaviour in public.

On Monday morning when Akshay returned from Singapore after shooting for Priyadarshan's Dan Dana Dan, he was quickly taken to the police station, arrested and released on bail.

"When he reached Mumbai press persons called to ask if he had been captured, as though he was a dangerous fugitive. But what had he done? Opened one button of his jeans, and that too by his wife," said the friend.

Superstar Akshay Kumar does seem to be looking for the opportunities to praise B-town beauty Katrina Kaif. But this time he surely has a reason to justify his words. Akshay has apparently found his female action-star now.

According to our source, Akshay and Katrina were recently shooting a water skiing stunt for their upcoming film ‘De Dana Dan’ in Singapore. To everyone’s surprise, Katrina pulled off the stunt with such confidence that her co-star Akshay Kumar was left speechless by the Bollywood beauty’s bravado.

The striking part was that while Kat hardly took any time pulling off the swashbuckling shot, action-king Akki himself struggled for a long time and kept falling off while doing the stunt!

“I have never fallen on my ass so many times in one day I swear...You know at the back of my mind I’ve always wondered what is going to be ‘that’ thing in life I’m gonna find unbelievably difficult??... Ha Ha, I’ve found it...Ladies and Gentlemen, it was Water Skiing!” Akshay writes in his latest blog post.

And what really impressed Akki was the way Kat pulled off the stunt. “I must say hats off to Katrina, she did extremely well, not many heroines I know would have tried and succeeded as much as Kat did, well done girl,” added Akshay.

The Khiladi who loves to flirt with danger finally found a stunt at which he fumbled time and again. It happened during the shooting of Priyadarshan’s movie De Dana Dan in Singapore.

“I have never fallen on my ass so many times in one day I swear...You know at the back of my mind I’ve always wondered what is going to be ‘that’ thing in life I’m gonna find unbelievably difficult??... Ha Ha, I’ve found it...Ladies and Gentlemen it was Water Skiing,” Akshay writes in his latest blog post.

Akshay jealous of Sanjay's Tattoos?

With Bollywood stars though, anything is possible. Heard that one of the reasons for friction on the sets of the Akshay Kumar-Sanjay Dutt flick Blue shot in the Bahamas were the tattoos on the leading men’s bodies. Akshay wears his son Aaraav’s name on his upper back and Sanjay Dutt has the most enviable collection of four tattoos including a lion on different parts of his body — back, forearm, etc.

According to a unit source who was witness to the filming of the underwater sequences, it so happened that Akki saw Sanju’s tattoos blazing on his body like a rock star and suggested to an assistant director that perhaps ‘baba’(Sanju) should cover the tattoos with make up because it wouldn’t go with the character he was playing. Sanju agreed to the suggestion, but when someone later told him that Akki was ‘jealous’ of his tattoos and hence he asked for them to be covered, Sanju was apparently disturbed. Akshay denies all this tattoo blah.

“Sanjay and I are very cordial with each other,’’ says Akki. “Where do these constant rumours of stress between us keeping cropping up from?’’ Akki said that even after watching the promos of Chandni Chowk to China — one of the first to congratulate him was Sanjay. At the party for Blue, the two guys posed for the shutterbugs.

“When Sanju visited the sets of De Dana Dan we hugged in view of the full unit,’’ says Akki. “Please don’t waste your breath asking me ridiculous questions,’’ he says. Must say the assistant director who has been spreading these stories of rivalry between Akshay and Sanjay must be going ‘blue’ in the face.
